Gracie is a big, strong, solid mare but by no means heavy. She has a wonderful, kind, easy going temperament and her classic good looks give her lots of presence in the show ring. Gracie is a very good mover and loves to jump. She trained with Eve Mainwaring, Brockville, Ontario this winter and showed great promise.
Her dam, Rio Rosetta, was Champion 3 year old at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto and was very successful showing in the Florida jumper circuit 2008 with Deanna Phalen of New Brunswick. Her sire, Oxford, has five of the top sires in the world in the first three generations of his pedigree (Burggraaf, Landgraf, Voltaire, Furioso II, Cor de la Bryere) and has sired many champion hunter offspring both in Canada and the USA.
Gracie was bred to
Landfrise II (Landgraf I x Manstein x
Volkhornxx) - a top jumper
stallion from Germany who
just arrived in North America. Landfrise offspring are
competing all over the world at international jumping
competitions as well as the dressage and hunter rings.
Rio Rosetta shows her stuff on the course...
