Euro Equestrian Sales Ltd.
Confirmation, beauty, temperament & athleticism are the qualities of
our mares & foals from top Hunter/Jumper bloodlines.
Our Mission: Working with Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association and KWPN to breed Olympic calibre foals. Our dream is to have Canada's Olympic team not only compete at the Olympics, but to be riding Canadian bred offspring.
Confirmation, beauty, temperament &
athleticism are the dominant qualities in our mares and offspring.
Euro Equestrian Sales has adopted both Europe’s KWPN and Canada’s
Warmblood missions, which is to produce a well bred Warmblood horse,
correct in confirmation so it can perform and remain sound and
excellent in performance and rideability. Our goal is to produce
horses suitable for Olympic caliber Jumpers and top confirmation
Hunters.
The ideal Warmblood Horse is a combination of the thoroughbred
athleticism/stamina and the Warmblood movement, substance and
trainability. To achieve this, only superior mares are used in our
breeding program since the mare throws 60%– 80% into the total
equation of the offspring. To this, we have added only superior
stallions that have Olympic caliber capabilities.
When Eve Mainwaring, head inspector for Canadian Warmblood visited
our farm in October 2008, she said that we have been obviously
selective in choosing our mares for all the necessary components
mentioned above. She further went on to say that, although all our
mares are absolutely lovely, Woodlawn’s Paris in particular is the
absolute impeccable example of the perfect broodmare. During the
free jumping test, Eve scored every one of our mares in scope and
technique between 8 and 10. We also free jumped our two yearlings,
Euro’s Ramirus and Euro’s Diva Divine and they also scored between 8
and 10, and scored the same in confirmation and movement as well.
Eve was thrilled to see what she considers another top Canadian
Breeder. (Eve Mainwaring runs St. Alban’s Stables in Brockville,

Euro Equestrian Centre is located in Beaverbank – approximately 20 minutes from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The farm consists of 250 acres bordering on two lakes. The horses are all turned out in pairs in two to four acre paddocks. Adjacent to our land is approximately 1,000 acres belonging to a local lumber company so we are blessed to have access to miles and miles of beautifully groomed riding trails – ideal not only for starting our young horses, but also for keeping our brood mares fit.
The
barn itself consists of an indoor riding arena, six foaling stalls
which can be converted
back into regular stalls and eight regular
stalls (approximately 12 X 12). Most of our staff live on site so
the horses have 24 hour supervision. Probably the most important
aspect of our farm is that we are all genuine animal lovers,
therefore their care & well being come first and foremost. Our
philosophy is that a horse that is extremely healthy, both mentally
and physically, will be more willing to perform its job better.
Euro Equestrian Sales is also a proud distributor for these fine lines of horse care & performance products - "Only the Best for our Horses - Which is why we sell it too!!"
